The forest yurt offers comfortable accommodation in the forest and is very easy to access. Located near the village of Vimy Ridge about a five minute mountain walk from the landing stage, this yurt is perfect for accommodating families with children. This refuge only offers the activity of the Little Prince rally for free upon reservation.

Just like the rental of a chalet , the rental of a yurt gives the right to a certain number of free accesses to the trails. Included for 2 people these will give you the opportunity to visit more than 20km of hiking trails , to see mining remains from the last century, mountain lakes, to admire exceptional flora and fauna, as well as breathtaking landscapes.

Double bunk bed with a single bed and a futon;

Water (a lot);
Matches, fire lighters and a newspaper;
Small propane tank: rental possible at an additional price ;
Toilet paper;
Dish towels, biodegradable soap and scouring sponge;
Warm blankets or sleeping bags and pillows;
Your lighting. Remember to bring something to light up if that's what you are using;
A small jar for young children.
Note that wood for outdoor fire (summer only) is not included, an additional price is necessary in order to have it.

Animals prohibited on trails and accommodation
Access rights to the trails are included for 2 people.
A shower is accessible behind the Desjardins chalet.

Arrival is from 1 p.m. and maximum departure at 11 a.m.
To note :
Access to the yurt requires a 5-minute walk on the trail from the landing stage parking lot. After transporting your luggage, you must park at chalet Desjardins. To reach the yurt in the woods, at least 20 minutes of walking on the trail is necessary or 15 minutes by road and the first trail used.
Strollers are unsuitable on the trails. Baby bags are more recommended. We rent one for $ 4.
Sledges should be avoided because our trails are sloping. Backpacks are preferable.
